HIPRAPOX
Vacuna viva, Difteroviruela aviar, cepa FPV92, en liofilizado inyectable
COMPOSICIÓN POR DOSIS:
Virus Difteroviruela aviar vivo, cepa FPV92 ≥ 104 DIE50
La Difteroviruela aviar es una enfermedad vírica común en aves de granja. Esta enfermedad está distribuida en todo
el mundo.
LABORATORIOS HIPRA, S.A. produce la vacuna HIPRAPOX usando una cepa del virus de la Difteroviruela aviar que ha
sido atenuada, incapaz de causar la Difteroviruela generalizada y que protege ecazmente a las aves vacunadas.
INDICACIONES:
Gallinas (Pollos de engorde, Pollitas futuras ponedoras y reproductoras) y Pavos: Prevención de la Difteroviruela
aviar en gallinas (pollos de engorde, pollitas futuras ponedoras y reproductoras) y pavos.
POSOLOGÍA:
Gallinas y Pavos: 1 dosis/ave.
FORMA Y VÍA DE ADMINISTRACIÓN:
Gallinas: Disolver el liolizado con el disolvente adjunto. Estirar la membrana del ala. Aplicar la vacuna por puntura
en la membrana del ala, evitando posibles lesiones en los vasos sanguíneos. El escaricador de doble hoja debe
estar recién impregnada con la solución vacunal en el momento de realizar la punción en el animal.
Pavos: Disolver el liolizado con el disolvente adjunto. Aplicar por escaricación en el muslo, una gota de la solución
vacunal.
Plan vacunal orientativo:
Pollos de engorde: Pueden vacunarse desde el primer día de vida.
Pollitas futuras ponedoras y reproductoras: Vacunar entre las 8 y 12 semanas de vida. En zonas de alto riesgo de
enfermedad puede vacunarse al día de vida, revacunando antes de la producción.
Pavos: Pueden vacunarse desde el primer día de vida.
TIEMPO DE ESPERA:
0 días.
CONTRAINDICACIONES: No se han descrito.
REACCIONES ADVERSAS:
– A los 7-10 días posvacunación deberían aparecer uno o dos nódulos en el punto de inoculación, los cuales se
transformarán en costras (“take”), lo que es una señal de la toma de la vacunación. Dichas costras desaparecerán
a las 2-3 semanas posvacunación.
PRECAUCIONES ESPECIALES DE USO:
– Debe evitarse vacunar aves enfermas, vacunando sólo aves sanas.
– Comprobar la fecha de validez del producto.
– Usar material estéril para su administración.
– Evitar temperaturas altas del disolvente en la que se disuelve el liolizado, preferiblemente no superiores a los +15 °C.
– Agitar suavemente, asegurando una completa reconstitución del liolizado antes de su administración.
– Esterilizar mediante calor el frasco y su contenido, así como los instrumentos empleados para la vacunación
(escaricador), una vez usados.
– Guardar entre +2 y +8 °C, al abrigo de la luz.
– En caso de autoinyección accidental, consulte con su médico inmediatamente y muéstrele el texto del envase o el
prospecto.
– Tratar los materiales de desecho, mediante ebullición, incineración o inmersión en un desinfectante adecuado que
haya sido autorizado por las autoridades competentes.
PRESENTACIÓN:
Envase 5 fr de 1.000 ds + 5 fr de disolvente.

Live vaccine against Fowl pox virus, FPV92 strain, in injectable freeze-dried tablet
COMPOSITION PER DOSE:
Live fowl pox virus, FPV92 strain ≥ 104 EID50
Fowl pox is a common viral disease of poultry. The disease is distributed worldwide in one of its two forms, cutaneous
or diphtheritic (wet pox).
LABORATORIOS HIPRA, S.A. produces the vaccine HIPRAPOX using a strain of fowl pox virus, attenuated, which
cannot induce the disease and it effectively protects vaccinated birds.
INDICATIONS:
Chickens (Broilers, Layers and Breeders) and Turkeys: To prevent Fowl pox, both in the cutaneous or diphtheritic
forms in chickens (broilers, layers and breeders) and turkeys.
DOSAGE:
Chickens and Turkeys: 1 dose/bird.
ADMINISTRATION FORM AND ROUTE:
Chickens: Dissolve the freeze-dried tablet in the solvent. Extend the wing membrane. Apply carefully the vaccine by
puncturing the membrane in a manner that does not provoke lesions in the blood vessels. The needle must be freshly
impregnated with the vaccine solution when performing each administration.
Turkeys: Dissolve the freeze-dried tablet in the solvent. One drop of the vaccine solution will be applied by follicular
scarication in the thigh.
Vaccination programme recommended:
Broilers: They can be vaccinated from one day of age.
Layers and Breeders: Vaccinate between the 8 and 12 week of age. In areas of high risk of the disease, the
vaccination can be administered on the day of hatching, revaccinating before the laying period.
Turkeys: They can be vaccinated from one day of age.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
0 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
None has been described.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
– After 7-10 days post-vaccination, one or two nodules should appear at the injection site which transform into scabs
(“take”), indicating that the bird has been vaccinated. The scabs will disappear within 2-3 weeks after the
vaccination.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
– Do not vaccinate diseased birds, only those that are healthy.
– Check the expiry date of the product.
– Use steril material.
– The solvent used to dissolve the freeze-dried tablet should not be a high temperature; it should not exceed 15 °C.
– Shake gently until complete resuspension of the freeze-dried tablet before administration.
– Once used, sterilize the vial and its content, as well as the two-pronged needle, by heat.
– Store at +2 to +8 °C, protected from light.
– In case of accidental self-injection, seek medical advice immediately and show the package insert or the label to the
physician.
– Treat the disposable materials by boiling, incineration or immersion in a suitable disinfectant, which has authorised
by the competent authorities.
PRESENTATION:
Pack with 5 vials of 1,000 ds + 5 vials of solvents.
